Current Projects

For all my Show-Me Nature Photography Newsletter readers, I am beginning on working on my October issue.  Actually, with everything going on, this will be a combination “October-November” issue.  Since returning from my late September National Park photo shoot (Grand Teton, Yellowstone, Rocky Mountain), I have had a booth at the Drexel (MO) Fall Festival and have been teaching 6 photography classes and 2 gardening classes at the Cass Career Center (Harrisonville, MO).  So far, I’ve finished the “Point and Shoot” class, the “Digital SLR” class, a “Macro” class, a “Lenses” class, and a “Wildlife Photography” class.  Next week is my “Landscapes and Moonscapes” class.  And the following week are my “Landscaping for Wildlife” and “Planning and Preparing a Garden” classes.  It’s been a rigorous 3 weeks so far, but I’ve thoroughly enjoyed teaching these classes and have been blessed with some outstanding students.

Look for my next issue of Show-Me Nature Photography Newsletter sometime next week!

Busy, Busy, Busy!!!

Just a note to let everyone we’re back from our “National Park Tour”.  We were gone for nearly 3 weeks, photographing the fall colors and wildlife in Grand Teton NP, Yellowstone NP, and Rocky Mountain NP.  After returning home, I participated in the Drexel Fall Festival with a booth of my photos and miscellaneous products.  And I’ve just finished the first week (of 4) of teaching photography classes at the Cass Career Center in Harrisonville, MO.

I’ve begun downloading my National Park images into Lightroom, but it will take a few days to get them downloaded, labeled and edited.  I hope to have the “Recent Travel” page updated within the next week.  Stay tuned!
